• We will be presenting eight selections for our special Greek Independence Day program this month. Five of the eight features will be available for streaming 10 days: from Friday, March 19—Sunday, March 28. Three films will have limited availability.
  • America America, Elia Kazan’s masterpiece, will only be available March 19-21.
  • Cliffs of Freedom will only be available March 25, worldwide except Australia.
  • 300, the epic film about the Spartans’ resistance during the Persian War, will only be available March 26-28.

• To celebrate this milestone event in Greek history, we are offering two selections free of charge: Cliffs of Freedom (March 25 only) and the pilot episode of the hit Netflix anime series, Blood of Zeus. To watch these selections, simply click on Launch Free Film next to the film description on the Upcoming Events page.
• We are pleased to provide bonus content for every film. Filmmaker interviews, which accompany the film presentations of Cliffs of Freedom and Blood of Zeus, can be launched from the film section of our website next to where you launch the film. For other post-feature interviews, please click on discussion/interview located at the bottom left of the launch page of the film (accessible from your ticket or pass page–you may need to scroll down to the bottom of the page in order to see it).
• Tickets to all other individual features are $8. Or you can get a special pass to watch all selections for the revolutionary price of $18.21. Aside from America America (3/19-21), ), Cliffs of Freedom (3/25) and 300 (3/26-28), which are only available for limited times, all remaining films can be watched any time during the 10-day period and need not be watched in one sitting. Ticket prices include all fees.
• If you are purchasing the $18.21 pass or an individual film ticket, you will receive a confirmation email with instructions for how to access your films. If you do not receive the email, please check all your folders, including spam and junk. If you do not receive it, please email help@hellenicfilmusa.org.
• If you want to watch only the two free selections, simply click on Launch Free Film next to the film description on the Upcoming Events page.
• Once you initiate viewing a film, you will have 72 hours to complete watching or rewatching it. (Please note the clock starts once you start watching—not once you purchase your ticket.) Once you start watching a film on a particular device, the technology does not allow you to pause and continue watching on a different device.
• For easy access, we recommend that you purchase your ticket(s) from the device you plan to watch the film on. So if, for example, you plan to watch on your laptop, we recommend you buy tickets from your computer and not on your phone. If you prefer to cast the films to your TV, please see Frequently Asked Questions for information on how to do that.
