The Hellenic Film Society USA accepts submissions of feature films, documentaries, and short subjects (we do not accept web series). Since the Society’s activities are ongoing and not limited to one annual festival, submissions are accepted throughout the year. There is no submission fee.

The Hellenic Film Society accepts:

• Films made in Greece or Cyprus in the Greek language (these films are given preference in the selection process)
• Films in any language that promote the history and/or culture of Greece or Cyprus
• Films by directors of Greek or Cypriot descent working in other countries and in other languages
• Please note: Films in languages other than English must have English subtitles

Submissions are welcome, preferably with a password-protected private Vimeo link. If you would like to use a commercial transfer site, please write to us first about which service you would like to use.

Once a film is selected, it is eligible for inclusion in the Society’s festivals and screenings and for online streaming.
